Dr Muhammed Mustafa İZGEÇ, who was appointed Second President of the Energy Market Regulatory Board, and İbrahim TAN and Dr Erdoğan TOZAN, who were appointed as Members of the Board pursuant to Presidential Decision No. 2026/209, issued under the signature of President Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN and published in the Official Gazette on 31 July 2026, formally assumed their duties upon taking the oath of office before the First Presidency Board of the Court of Cassation.

EMRA President Mustafa Yılmaz and the Members of the Board were also in attendance at the ceremony.

The oath reads as follows:

“I swear that, throughout my term of office as a Member of the Energy Market Regulatory Board, I shall conduct the affairs of the Board with the utmost diligence and integrity, and that I shall neither act, nor permit others to act in contravention of the provisions of the law or the relevant legislation.”
